Budgets can be used as an effective and efficient tool for financial planning and analytical comparison purposes. It is possible to create multiple Budgets for any G/L Account or Dimension.
Budgets can be created quickly utilizing 4 different batch jobs:
- Import Budget from Excel Batch Job: This allows users to import budgets that have been created in Excel.
- Copy G/L Budget Batch Job: This function allows users to copy an existing budget to create a new one.
- Budget Amount by Period Batch Job: This function is used to create a budget for a G/L Account.
- Budget from History Batch Job: Use this function to create a budget for a G/L Account based on actual historical entries for that G/L Account.
